Hi,

yesterday I tried to tasmota onto four smart plugs, model “Nous A1”. According to an installation instruction, I used a Raspberry Pi 4 with a freshly installed Raspbian. Everything went smoothly and I was able to connect to the tasmota WLAN and entered my WLAN data. However, I was not able to find a tasmota entry in my router. I do not think that the plug is defect, since I had the same problem with a second one. I did not change the host name for either plug. I also double checked that all data entered is correct. Next, I wanted to reset the plugs but was not able to do so. When I put the “Nous A1” in a wall socket, a red and blue LED blink for a very short period of time. After that the blue LED, which normally shows, stays off. Also when I press the button on the plug for a longer period of time (>5 secs and >40 secs) or switch it on and off several times, while in the socket, nothing happens.

While I already prepare to flash both of them serial, I hope that someone can help me figure out, what went wrong. I really would like to flash the remaining ones OTA.

My router is a Fritz Box.

Thanks, and best regards Brun

If you’ve got to the 192.168.4.1 stage the issue could be a password problem for the router. FritzBox allows special characters but Tasmota doesn’t (there is an example in the docs on how to get round this).
