Hi all..
First thanks to Thom and all of you that make it possible to have this wonderful firmware for us.
I am using some Sonoff basic for some time with tasmota firmware and had no problems with it. Now i want to connect a FC-28 soil moisture sensor to my sonoff at gpio 14 but i can’t get it to work. I have tried different sensor configuration in the web GUI but there is no reading from the sensor.
This particular sensor has Analog and Digital output. It can be powered by the 3.3V from sonoff, as far as I know.
I've found this link where they explained how to connect this sensor to arduino or similar board.

Is it possible to connect this sensor to sonoff basic at gpio14? Do I have to code a new type of sensor (User) and recompile and upload the firmware to the sonoff?
Please you advice.
Thanks

Phil

should be fine with no changes, use the digital output and it will be on or off dependent on state, flash n test with the arduino example sketch to confirm ;)

You can make all the changes via MQTT commands:  See for examples: https://www.instructables.com/id/Home-Automation-Sonoff-Tasmota-Sensors-LEDs-Develo/

Dear Jan,
have you found a solution for your problem?
Is it working now?

I have the same question.

Many thanks
Ivan
