OTA upgrade confusion

First time OTA attempt for device at ver 6.6.
I backed up my device. I will reset 6.
Here are my questions based on the instructions page:
Records show my ver 6.6 file is 515kb, so I need to upgrade first to 6.7.1 minimal.

But most full versions are >500kb. So the upgrade path would be full-minimal-full-minimal etc. etc. until the desired version is reached. or if I use the Upgrade by web server, this minimal-full cycle is taken care of. correct?
If so, I need to upgrade multiple times along this path:
to v6.7.1  🔀  v7.2.0  🔀  v8.5.1  🔀  v9.1  🔀  Current release
So I need 5 URLs, one for each upgrade?

And to do this, I need to replace the URL in the Upgrade by web server box.
But the instructions only point to the release page. There should be some OTA URL given on the release page, but there are none. What do I put in the web server box for each version?
Right now is has "http://thehackbox.org/tasmota/release/sonoff.bin"  I assume this is the ver 11 latest.

Thanks!

I think the answer is the release page itself. In the case of 6.7.1 it is 'http://ota.tasmota.com/tasmota/release-6.7.1/'
but this does not look like the example in the instructions, from what little is shown.
I want to confirm to minimize the risk of failing the upgrade and having to reflash.

Doing minimal isn’t enough you need to do a full upgrade.

Download both the minimal and tasmota and upload using the upload from file part on the upgrade page – sometimes using the OTA at the top fails.

I used the upgrade by file minimal-full. It worked, and i suppose just as easy as the upgrade by webserver - don't have to guess if the release page is the correct URL.
Two questions:
Do I need to restore my settings from backup before moving to 7.2? My programming is minimal though so not critical.
Also, please confirm I need to upgrade to minimal, then full, then minimal, then full, etc. until I reach the desired version.

I completed the upgrade and the device is operational at version 11.1.0.
The restore settings did not work unfortunately.
--WARNING 9: Restore file './Config-pump_DOWNstairs.json' contains obsolete name 'display_dimmer', skipped
--Premature exit - #9 Restore data error
I am now working on getting it recognized in Home Assistant.

Thanks for the help.
