I've got a stack of Sonoff Minis which I flashed to Tasmota 9.1.
Stupidly I failed to document what options I set.
When I run "So19 1" in the console I get MQT: homeassistant/switch, ../sensor, ../binary_sensor.
I've just flashed some more and I don't get the ../binary sensor which I need.
It must be obvious but I can't see the wood for the trees. If somebody can point me in the right direction, I will write it down this time!
Thanks

SetOption19 only turns on HomeAssistant discovery.

What ‘binary_sensor’ are you expecting? It may just be that you haven’t configured inputs/outputs but I’m just guessing.

The switch is the relay (GPIO12). Sensor for what ever reason reports wifi strength. The binary sensor should be the push button (GPIO00).
Here is my template setting.

GPIO #Component
GPIO00 Button1
GPIO01 User
GPIO02 User
GPIO03 User
GPIO04 None
GPIO05 None
GPIO09 None
GPIO10 None
GPIO12 Relay1
GPIO13 Led1i
GPIO14 None
GPIO15 None
GPIO16 None
FLAG None

By default Tasmota doesn’t report switch/button states. As you have a Relay1 and a Button1 the Button will be automatically linked to the Relay unless you detach them. That will be why HA doesn’t report it.

That's my problem.
I want to use the switch state as part of an automation e.g. sonoff mini behind switch face plate operates relay in second sonoff mini in remote location.
I have actually done that to get a light switch in my kitchen to operate the external lights on my shed.
The problem is I can't remember what I did :-( Can you help?

Buttons and Switches - Tasmota

This might be the place to start.

Log into the console of the one that you’ve set up before and try typing the options (without the 0 or 1)to find which one you used

FWIW it turns out that I had created the binary sensors in Tasmota 9.1 by the command switchtopic = one (or any text string).
