I'm in the US and was looking to replace a regular switch with a smart switch that would do MQTT (for an integration with Openhab).  I considered buying a Sonoff Touch but those don't seem to fit in standard U.S. light switch receptacles.

I found some inexpensive ($24) switches on Amazon and decided to give one of them a shot.  Here is the link:

I was able to flash the tasmota firmware on this switch using these instructions:

So far, it's been working without a hitch.

Few more items of interest:
1) The board has a depopulated header for Ground, VCC, TX, RX.  I was able to connect a TTL adapter and communicate with it using the serial interface
2) I was not able to flash firmware using the serial interface... I tried connecting GPIO0 to ground but it's a very small pin and I gave up and use the OTA process instead
3) I was able to successfully upgrade to 5.8.0 using OTA.
4) Everything I tried worked out of the box.  The touch switch toggles lights on and off.  MQTT works without a hitch

Did you have to do anything special to get the touch part to work?

Nope.  It just worked.  I was also able to handle long press events of the touch button.
