Ability to write the Tasmota log to the Synology NAS

Hi,

after every reboot, the logfile of the Sonoff with Tasmota firmware is emptied. I was wondering if it is possible to write the log to the Synology log folder. If so: how ?

Can you enable a syslog server on the Synology?

As far as I know: yes.

I followed the instructions for the Synology: BSD selected, TCP 514, but how do I set up the Sonoff / Tasmota to write it to that log?

You can define SYS_LOG_HOST and SYS_LOG_LEVEL before you (initially) compile and upload, or you should be able to find those settings in the http interface.

Have you got this working? I installed Log Center on the synology and set it up but I'm not receiving any logs.

What settings do you have?

Try the command "syslog" with value > 0
LogHost 
LogPort
SysLog > 0

I found the solution. For anyone else needing to do this, the Synology Log Center needs to be set as below:

On the Tasmota flashed device it needs to be set as below (set IP address as per your Synology):
