Hi,

I recently bought a WF-CS01 Curtain Switch which seems to be supported by Tasmota, as depicted here: https://templates.blakadder.com/WF-CS01_EU.html

However, looking inside the Switch, I found some kind of different HW.
I expected a TYWE3S chipset but instead there is a TYZS3 chip inside.

At least the usal procedures seems not work, as I did for the ESP8266 HW.
Is there any chance to flash this chip with Tasmota and can someone put me to some guidelines?

Thanks in advance for your help on this issue !!

It's a Zigbee module, not having the ESP8266 to support Tasmota.

However, Tasmota can support Zigbee devices by having a coordinator flashed with Tasmota.

Thanks for your quick answer.

in case there is no way to remove the Tuya firmare I would tend to trash those devices, as I don't want to have this in my smart home environment.
Even only using Zigbee with a potential Tasmota gateway, I need to bind the devices to the "Smart Life" App which seems to be a big security risk.

Anyhow ... thanks.

No if it’s a ZigBee device it can work with any ZigBee coordinator (Tasmota, Philips Hue, Samsung SmartThings, Alexa etc). They have very low power and no direct access to the internet so they are a negligible security risk.
