"Upgraded" to a new Asus RT-BE88U router which has a Guest Network earmarked for IoT devices.  This new router replaced an Asus RT-AC3100 which I had all my IoT devices on a Guest network as well.  It has not been a pleasant experience so far tweaking all the router's 2.4ghz radio settings to get my ESP devices to connect.  I am down to 5 Sonoff Basics that just refuse to connect to the new router.  One for sure is a R2 Basic.  All are flashed with Tasmota 14.5.0.  Router wifi settings are "WEP2-Personal" as I found out few ESP devices would connect when set to "WEP2/WEP3-Personal".   Oddly enough, I do have 1 Sonoff Basic that does connect, not sure what rev it is but Tasmota info shows chip id to be ESP8266EX.  Going to set up a spare router to get these device to connect to it and play around with tasmota "Wifi" command to see if something besides default "1" setting will make a difference.  Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.  Router log shows :  Apr  6 08:42:42 wlceventd: wlceventd_proc_event(685): wl0.2: Auth 84:F3:EB:AF:8E:0E, status: Successful (0), rssi:-58

Not ready to mark this case a "SOLVED" yet, but on the suspect devices (five Sonoff Basics and 1 Milfra Light Switch) that would not connect to the new router, after hooking up my original router and getting them to connect to it, I went to Console and entered command "Wifi 3" and they now will connect to my new router showing mode "11g" instead of the usual "11n" mode.  Will monitor to see if there is any adverse effect on the network.

Wifi
0 = disable Wi-Fi
1 = enable Wi-Fi (default)
ESP8266 only:
2 = Wi-Fi mode 802.11b
3 = Wi-Fi mode 802.11b/g
4 = Wi-Fi mode 802.11b/g/n
When wifi is Off it is always returned On after a restart except for a wake-up from deepsleep.
