Dear group members,
I finally dared to connect a Sonoff 4CH Pro I had already bought ages
ago (and tasmotized) to the control system of my pool cover. The
relays double on the key switch that is normally in place to
open/close the cover. Relay 1 is used for open, relay 3 for close and
relay 2 (connected on the NC) for the emergency stop in serial with
the real stop button on the control panel. The relays are interlocked
using the hardware jumper settings.
The key switch normally has a built-in spring so you just have to turn
the key left/right to engage the cover engine and it immediately pops
back in “rest” position.
To simulate this, I wanted to use some kind of inching, returning the
relay to “normal/rest” state after a certain delay, for example 200ms.
To achieve this I am now using my node red setup (which I also use for
other automations), but I would prefer it to be "built-in” on the
sonoff so I do not get into trouble when the node red goes down.
Could anyone give me a hint as to how to “program” this setup? Maybe
using backlog?
So far I have several tasmotized devices in use, but always use home
assistant and/or node red for the “programming”. This means I have no
real experience with the brains of tasmota besides setOption19…
Kind regards,
