Hi,

I use self compiled Tasmota and set in "user_config_override.h" the Templates for my need like:
#define USER_TEMPLATE          "{\"NAME\":\"Shelly 2.5\",\"GPIO\":[320,0,32,0,224,193,0,0,640,192,608,225,3456,4736],\"FLAG\":0,\"BASE\":18}"

After flashing I always have to navigate to "Configuration | Configure Other" and check the "Activate" checkbox plus "Save".

Is there any way to set the USER_TEMPLATE active as default?

Thank you!
Jan

Just type Module 0 in Console or add “CMND”:”Module 0” to the end of your template string

Hi Phil,

setting:
#define USER_TEMPLATE          "{\"NAME\":\"Shelly
2.5\",\"GPIO\":[320,0,32,0,224,193,0,0,640,192,608,225,3456,4736],\"FLAG\":0,\"BASE\":18},\"CMND\":\"Module
0\"}"
works like a charm.

It’s mainly about knowing where to look. I started on V4 about 4 years ago. The docs are a lot better than they used to be but still take some navigation some times.

Hi Phil,

Could you please recommend a guide for creating the USER_TEMPLATE?

I am having no luck setting my wemos builds to compile as Generic, let alone assigning IRsend/Recieve to the pins. For some reason googling "USER_TEMPLATE  tasmota" is failing me, I could have sworn I saw a guide at one point - thanks in advance :)

Hi, if it’s about creating a template

How To Create A Template In Tasmota: The Dummies Guide – Siytek

And Tasmota’s own version

Templates - Tasmota

If you are talking about making it part of a build it’s another matter
