Just ordered my first 3 sonoff's + orange pi zero for mosqitto broker.
But my concern is something different
I have ardiuno rig for controlling my chicken coop . There are motors for opening door, feeding, watering, temperature sensor of nests etc. It is a small coop with 8 inhabitants (including rooster).
It functions very well, but I wonder if arduino who is the master controller could use tasmota serial interface to publish via MQTT some informations . Do not get me wrong - I will change the arduino code to do the serial job, but is it possible to use tasmota serial commands to publish some mqtt messages, or I have to use other MQTT<>rs232 gate
like here
so the scenario is ARDUINO(temperature, egg count, rooster mood ;) - whatever info) > rs232 > SONOFF(tasmota) >> MQTT
