Tasmota on Wemos D1 R2

Any experience  using Wemos D1 R2 (https://wiki.wemos.cc/products:d1:d1#documentation)  + Tasmota + Arduino IDE ?

I found this board very attractive, with 4MB, and 9+ I/O. For a good price.

I wanna  to use Sonoff basic (as is) for relays,  and Wemos D1 R2 for fancy sensors (direct, 1Wire, I2C). 

I don't like to extend  Sonoff with external sensors, For risk of electric shocks.

And, of course,  Tasmota on all board :).

Your opinion? Thanks

Yes I agree it is best to use a low voltage system for sensors etc.

I have flashed a number of WeMos D1-Minis.  Everything works great.
