Hi there!
I have about 5x sonoff T1 2C and 4x T1 1C - all SONOFF T1 R2 EU VER V1.0.
3x 2C and 2x 1C were flashed successfully to tasmota 6.6.0 core 2.3.0 and are functioning correctly (*).
However, 2x 1C and 1x 2C seem broken. I.e. they flash (using NodeMCU-PyFlasher-4.0-x64) correctly, and show the message to reset the device or to disconnect and reconnect the power, but when I do that, they do not come up - i.e. the led does not flash, and buttons are half-lit. No other functionality works on those. I can re-flash ad-infinitum but nothing changes.
I tried flashing core 2.5.2 and also minimal and basic. Still nothing (except minimal 2.5.2 keeps telling me md5 sum error at the end of the flash process).
Any other ideas I can try? Or is it the garbage heap for these 3?
Some more details, secondary issues.
Prior to flashing tasmota, I had all 9 units connected to their intended locations, running stock firmware, but not connected to wifi. They were all functioning correctly. However, after some time they started misbehaving - they were no longer responding to touch. I had to spend couple of minutes in front of each unit long pressing on button0 until 2 beeps were heard, and sometimes, the units unfroze long enough for me to trip the relays. Very frustrating. That encouraged me to switch to tasmota.
For getting the 9 devices into boot mode, I used the method of connecting a wire from R19 to GND during powerup, as pressing the reset button or long press on the button0 was not working for me.
When I said above that all units flashed to tasmota are functioning correctly, there's a slight comment there.
First of all, the lag between the touch event and the tripping of the relay seems longer than with stock firmware. It's perfectly usable, but it is noticeable. Any ideas here?
Second, some units (and I think for those whose wifi connection is spotty) sort of reset themselves from time to time causing a flicker of the lights (relays can be heard tripping). State after reset is same as before the reset. So lights do stay on, but they flicker. Flicker is very fast. Some quarter of a second. Any ideas here?
