Guys,

Tasmota 11 on an ESP8266 with an 8 channel relay board - i have setup the relays in an interlocked fashion (manually) so that when Relay 1 is in the off position it feeds the common of relay 2 etc etc.

I would like to be able to send the command to Tasmota (through MQTT) to turn off and on certain combinations of relays - i can not find any specific examples

I would have thought it would be something like

{POWER1: OFF, POWER2: ON} as an example - but this seems to be ignored

Does anyone know if this is possible or do i have to send them all as discrete commands ?

You have two main options.
Use Backlog as the 'main' command and power1 0; power 2 1 as the payload.
Or use events and use a rule triggered by the event.

See the commands and rules pages respectively
