I’ll be conducting a Brazilian oriented jam session starting around 5pm, outdoors on Sat June 7th as part of The Occidental Center for the Arts all day Music and Dance Festival, in Occidental CA.
All drums and drummers welcome. This is a play by heart session but I will give a bit a guidance if necessary. Just come and PLAY!
I will bring some instruments, but bring your own. If you always play drums, this is great time to play bells, shakers, scratchers and other percussion.
There will be a full day of World music classes, performances, food on site, jam sessions for a wide variety of instruments and traditions, plus an evening concert of Celtic music. Please look at the site for more information. The fee is very reasonable.
