Sonobus over 4G and 5g public networks

Hello

I want to use Sonobus for a high-quality podcast with a remote guest over the internet. However, many guests are on a mobile network. 

So far, I haven't managed to get this working. Guests on wired networks work fine, but not over 4G or 5G.

Now, I occasionally read something in this group about using a VPN. That is supposed to remove many obstacles. 

However, I have little experience with and knowledge regarding the installation and use of VPNs and Sonobus.

Is there a good instruction available on how to set something like that up, on both sides?

And is this free?

Latency is slightly less critical for podcasts than for musicians.
