One Sided Distortion

Folks, Any thoughts on this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using Sonobus inteface to play piano duets with my sister over the internet using Sonobus.  I'm using a M-Track Solo and my sister is using a Scarlet for going between the pianos and the computers (both Apples).  We are hardwired to the Ethernet.

For a few months we had everything working well with a very low latency.  Both could hear piano and mic'd audio very clearly.

In the last two months we have had multiple problems but finally got it so she could hear my piano and audio clearly.  However, I can not hear her piano very well; distorted and pops.  Audio is working fine.  So, what went south on us?

We've rechecked most everything.  Played witih the likely settings:  output levels (+4 and -10), sample rate (48 kHz), audio buffer (256 samples), jitter buffer (30 ms), send quality (96 kbps), etc.

One piece of information:  my sister linked up to her partner via Sonobus, both using Scarlet, and they could hear each other fine.  

Any thoughts or similar experience/fix would be greatly appreciated.
