Weird new delay effect

I have been using a MOTU Ultralite (2 vocal mics, one stereo acoustic guitar pedal) and a Spark Go (electric guitar) for almost a year. Today, the Go amp/interface started by producing a severe distortion (not anything I ever programmed) followed by a long delay/latency (at my end and theirs). Nothing has changed in my Sonobus setup for months.
