Running SonoBus Fully Headless + CLI Control

Hi,

My name is Messias.

I’m currently using SonoBus in a radio server environment and I’m running it in headless mode using the -q flag with a saved setup file.

I would like to know:

1. Is it possible to run SonoBus fully headless in a stable production setup?

2. Is there any way to control it via CLI beyond initial connection parameters (e.g., connect/disconnect, mute, soundboard triggers, etc.)?

3. Is there any OSC or other remote control interface available or planned?

My goal is to automate connection, routing, and possibly trigger soundboard actions without using the GUI.

Hi Messias,

I've been working OSC support for my custom SonoBus build.

Here's what I've been able to implement so far:

It supports most common controls like mute, record, out level, jitter reset, etc.
I haven't done much with Soundboards since I rarely use them.

Zip files contain Standalone and VST3 binaries along with a working TouchOSC template.

This is a customized version of SonoBus built on the original project and shared under same terms.
