Sonobus to share hardware locally

I have diligently trying to solve a work from home issue revolving around using a microphone and speakers connected to a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen over my local network to a Linux laptop on the same network.

I have a need for the microphone output on my MacBook Pro to be received by my co-workers running Zoom/Slack/Teams on my company issued work laptop, and for the output of the same comms programs to be sent over the network back to the speakers connected to my audio interface connected to my MacBook Pro.

I can hear the microphone output on the Linux client, but I don't really need to hear myself, it just needs to route to the client software as a mic input.

Any ideas?
