Hello,

I have sonobus running as a VST3 in MaxMSP, it's working great multichannel.

My question is, every-time I close and open the app it doesn't store any of the settings and I am having to re-build it.

Is it possible to open the same configuration everytime? I'd also love to be able to package into a standalone app with Max, has anyone tried this? Essentially so it opens automatically/works as part of the max patch in a standalone?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi dan once you setup you VST3 settings and any other settings all within Sonobus, go to sav as TEMPLATE give it a name, next time you log in to Sonobus just click New Song and select the template name you created and it will load up all the save settings for that session you created, and when you want to add to it, same again go to save as template and select overwrite existing template. all done

Hey Jim,

Thank you for the response, but when I open the VST in max, I do not have the save option anywhere on the screen. Is this hidden somewhere when running as a VST?

Thanks Jim,

Are you well versed in the backend of Sonobus? I'm currently trying to up skill myself and would really like to make use of AOO/Sonobus for audio transport, but I essentially want a very pulled back version.

Essentially, just audio inputs and outputs, connection to groups, multichannel and control over things like jitter buffer and streaming quality. All while being able to save a few presents for input/output patching and connection groups. Do you know how complicated that would be to achieve?

Kind Regards,
Dan

not to bad with sonobus, I run the sonobus vst through Studio One which connects to my pre-sonus mixing desk, so all my channels are mapped separate into sonobus  i.e guitars, keyboards, vocals & media allowing other end users to control my mix, also it allows me just to drop any vst effects straight into sonbus channels, so far it works well, but has taken a great deal of time and patience to perfect it, with help of other sonobus users and a lot of persistence :)
