Hi friends!
I'm home for 2 days in between legs of Red Baraat's epic summer tour and wanted to send out an update that our new album, SOUND THE PEOPLE, is out! It's available on all digital platforms and CD/Vinyl on our website (all the links below). It's a special album to me, one that has a pretty clear message in these times we're living in. I'm particularly excited to have the voice of poet Suheir Hammad on the album, as well as a song of mine entitled Ghadar Machao, for which friend and poet Ali Mir co-wrote the lyrics. Please give it a listen, and let me know what you think!
Our summer tour continues this week in Kazakhstan (!) and then Germany, Holland, Switzerland, and Slovenia. We'll be back in the US in late July and August, playing in the Southwest, Midwest, South and beyond. See all the dates below.
