Performing this Saturday for Chhaya

Hi friends,

I will be performing a set at Queens-based Chhaya's annual Chatpati Mela this Saturday July 11 at 11am EST! Of course, it will be a virtual mela, and you can find details on Facebook here and register (for free) for the Zoom event here.

Chhaya CDC does awesome work on affordable housing and economic justice in NYC's South Asian communities, so I'm excited to be a part of this event. I'll be playing some solo stuff as well as quarantine collaborations with my bandmates-- including some never seen/heard before material!

For a decade, Chhaya’s annual Chatpati Mela has been a way for our community to come together and celebrate South Asian and Indo-Caribbean art, culture, and activism. For this year’s virtual Mela, it’s more important than ever to uplift our small businesses, our creative artists and performers, and our community members, and be hopeful about a better future. Join us on July 11th to celebrate our collective resilience.
