Solo show in NYC + Red Baraat festival of colors

Hi all,

I'm excited (and nervous!) to let you know that I'm playing music from my forthcoming album Chardi Kala on Tuesday, February 18th at Barbès at 7:30pm. After a year in the studio, I am working with a lovely group of NYC musicians to bring these Punjabi anthems of devotion and revolution to the stage. We'd love you to be a part of the work-in-progress process. And Slavic Soul Party! will be on right after us.

Hi all! 

Thanks to everyone who came to my show at Barbes in Brooklyn last week. I will have some more shows to announce soon. In the meantime, I hope to see many of you at one of Red Baraat's upcoming shows. All the dates are below. For the March 10th show in NYC, you can use discount code SUNNY15 for $15 tickets online, over the phone, or at the window. 

Also for those in NYC, I hope to see many of you this Friday at the emergency protest at the Indian consulate regarding the state-sanctioned anti-Muslim terror in Delhi. I will be there with my dhol. There are also protests planned in Atlanta, Chicago, and San Francisco tomorrow. More info here.
