That directory is typically generated based on a value programmed in the platform’s EEPROM, so yes it is autogenerated as you suspected. The “x86_64-dellemc_z9432f_c3758-r0” string is programmed into the EEPROM at the factory.
There are plans to support the Dell Z9432F-ON in the roadmap. We are currently working on other platforms like the S5212F-ON, S5224F-ON, N3248TE-ON, and N3248PXE-ON.
Also, the Z9332F-ON is another 32x 400G switch that is currently supported in SONiC, although it is running the Broadcom Tomahawk3 ASIC rather than the Broadcom Trident4.X11 that the Z9432F-ON has.
