is SONIC support normal x86 platform?

Dear all,

I'm new to SONIC and want to install the SONIC to normal x86 platform for daily use, is it supported? I saw SONIC are supported by some expensive switches on it's web page, like DELL/Arista etc..

normal x86 platform I mean just like Ubuntu can be installed on various of x86 devices even normal PC.
