Dynamic port breakout in Sonic

Hello Team,

 

Does sonic support dynamic port breakout? I am trying to do port breakout on TH4-T asic from 1x400-->4x100 but syncd is exiting.

It seems syncd is getting incorrect hw port number. Can you please share your feedback.

Hi Shantanu,

In general, DPB is expected to be working in SONiC. Still, the device specific issues may happen. The logs (syslog, sairedis.rec) may help here.
