If anyone has successfully used the Minimum Phase Reconstruction without encountering this issue, I would greatly appreciate your guidance on where I might be going wrong.

Has anyone utilized the Minimum Phase Reconstruction method for reconstructing HRIRs following the processing of HRTFs? I have encountered some difficulties with this approach in Task 1.
I used the Minimum Phase Reconstruction method to reconstruct the phase without changing the HRTF magnitudes, but the results do not pass the Stage 1 evaluation. Although the energy of the HRIR remains unchanged after reconstruction, the line-177 of the function 'barumerli2023_featureextraction' changes it. When I remove this line of code, the results pass the Stage 1 evaluation. Maybe this normalization is the problem?
