there is really no simple answer. The bottom line is that a beat maker
should be able to do what you want it to do. In other words, when you
have a beat stuck in your head and you want to get out for the rest of
the world to hear, you better have the right software for the job.
In saying that, it is nice to know that you can get the right beat
maker for the job without spending a lot of money. In fact, you can

hop beat out to the masses in less time then was ever imagined even a
few years ago.
A good beat maker should have some standard features available at your

You will also want access to the beats per minute or BPM control. This
is very important of course because each song, beat or mix will have a
different tempo.

itself, will require a little creativity and some patience.

sounds or the percussion. You don't have to finish the percussion

idea. From there, you can add a hook, which can include a bass-line,
synth-sounds, guitar parts etc. Don't over complicate this part, just

listening.

don't want to be a perfectionist when writing music because this may
