Arista VM CPU/Memory

Hi all,

Is it possible to increase the allotted CPU/Memory to Arista VM's ? We are hitting BGP flap issue in T0 profile and it seems to point towards Arista VM's.

Hi Venkatesh,

Yes, you can update the KVM template for Arista VMs to allocate more CPU cores: sonic-mgmt/ansible/roles/vm_set/templates/arista.xml.j2

  <vcpu placement='static'>1</vcpu>

To increase more memory, you can update variable of "memory" in sonic-mgmt/ansible/group_vars/vm_host/main.yml

After the template is updated, you need to re-create the VMs for the changes to take effect.
