Renuka,

I see a few items that need continued focus, and so suggest that we keep the series. Items are: -

1) FRR Northbound Interface - https://github.com/Azure/SONiC/pull/544. Dell developed some infrastructure (and BGP implementation) for managing FRR features through the SONiC Management Framework. This PR was raised back in December, but I don't think it's ever been reviewed. I think it should be.

2) RBAC - the Mgmt FW Phase 2 HLD that we've been reviewing contains this reference, and there is a newer version coming here. However both of these are in the project-arlo repo, and need to move to Azure/SONiC. This is another Dell item.

3) More generally, we (Broadcom, Dell) are going to start raising code PRs associated with the PRs (below) that we've been discussing - we will not wait for the HLDs review to fully close because we need to get going: -

Hi Ben,

 

PR #550 – I am in the middle of review and I will try to get in other reviewers too. By mid-next week, we will get some f/b. We have to see, if a meeting is required

PR #583 --  I am done with this. A very good doc. I will ping the team for any comments.

PR #541 – Let me ping team for  any comments; For now, there is nothing outstanding to resolve

PR #544 – Let me ping Pavel & team for f/b and get back to you by mid next week.

 

W.r.t RBAC – These would be key documents for review.  We could revive this weekly meetings, once those docs are put for review.

You call - I'm simply suggesting that we keep the series in place, not least because we have at least 2 documents (FRR NBI, RBAC) that have not been reviewed yet, plus a load of code PR's coming. Whatever you decide.

2. PR #544 – BGP-FRR – Has there been an explicit note to says that this PR is only for Enterprise and not for datacenter, as agreed upon earlier
