Hello DASH Open Source Community – thanks for your time over the last 3 weeks. We did not host the meeting on March 4^th (1^st Wednesday of the month), and next I was OOF for 10 days. It was good to see everyone again on Wednesday. We had a lot of work occur over the time period, please see below. I’m also still looking to leverage the Linux Foundation lists more to manage communications. If you could please take the time to enter your info here, I can proceed with deletion of the sonic-dash@googlegroups list we used when we began the project.

Just a reminder that we would encourage/invite Community members to present to the Community (test runs or progress, new scenarios, etc…), just ‘r’ to let me know, or generate a PR in the repo.

Counter Standardization and DPU Integration: Michal, Abdul, Srinivas, and Kristina discussed the progress of counter identification and standardization, including the merging of a key OpenCompute SAI PR (2251) for ENI and port counters, with AMD and NVIDIA teams coordinating on next steps for lib SAI integration and readiness for GA diagnosability.

Missing Counters and Monitoring: Michal raised the issue of missing SAI counters in monitoring, asking about the timeline for connecting them with the DPU. Abdul from Nvidia confirmed updates were pending on definition standardization, and Senthil and Arun from AMD were working on them.

AI Agent Approval Process Concerns: Michael raised concerns about the AI agent approving PRs in sonic-mgmt without verifying test plan conformity, prompting Prince to clarify the agent's role and confirm that auto-merging is restricted for certain repositories, with ongoing tracking to prevent oversight.

Agent Approval Limitations: Prince explained that auto-merging depends on the agent type and is restricted for critical repositories, acknowledging the oversight and confirming it is being tracked.

Python Model Fix for SAI Challenger: Farhan updated the group on a fix related to the SAI challenger for their Python model, noting successful testing with the Python model but pending updates for BMV2.
