Hello,
I have noticed that some events do not have a venue associated. Is it
possible for an event to *not* have a metro area as well? I have made
the assumption that every event has a metro area, but wanted to get
confirmation.

Hi Dave
Your assumption is right: an event always has a metro area. Sometimes
the venue might be unknown, in that case the API still returns a
venue, but with no ID and the name "Unknown venue".
