Location Geo Search, Nearest Major Metro.

I'm having an issue wherein the location results returned for a given set of lat/lng coordinates is overly specific.  For instance, I'm in New York, and using my current coordinates, it returns the "Broadway" metro (102541), which has no upcoming events.  Ideally, I'd like to get the New York metro (7644) for my geo-based search.

Is what I'm attempting possible with the current API?

Thanks for pointing that out! That was actually incorrect data on our
end. It's been fixed now.
