Singers,
We had an awesome circle last time at Carol's- thanks so much for hosting Carol and thanks Rick, Elizabeth, and Lily for some excellent accompaniment, and thanks to everyone who came- there were at least 12 of us in good voice.
We sure were silly- lots of laughing. And, as I recall, we went completely rogue, and didn't take turns but just yelled out our choices and the loudest one was chosen. Yes it is true- chaos reigned and it was a beautiful thing. In fact "rain" was the theme for most of the evening and we searched for songs that were about rain or had rain in the title- there are a lot of them! Toward the end, we expanded to rivers, and other bodies of water (which only existed because of rain), but whatever, it was a lot of fun- hilarious actually, and helped all of us through yet another rainy evening.
Perhaps this week, the theme will be sun?? Who knows what will happen, just be sure to show up and be a part of it!
Directions to my place: Turn east on Madrona Way, the small street off Madison across from the Pavilion movie marquee. Drive down to the second right hand street into the mobile home park. and turn there and park at the top of the road in the vacant lots and walk down. My house is the second to the last mobile home on the left- 414. 842-1179. There will be parking for three cars in the driveway if you squeeze in and park carefully- pulling right up to my car and parking way to each the side of the driveway.
