Same issue here . I am in 15pro with ios 17.4.1 and rarely seen the white flick while locking the screen . Also I realised this is happening when I higher or lower the brightness right before locking the screen

My battery drains very fast too, almost as fast as my XR which was five years old. I often have to charge the 15 twice a day, and I'm not using it a lot. The battery likes to drain a lot in the morning, but I've noticed it drains faster when it's below 50 percent.

CAN ANYONE HELP? I iPhone 13 Pro done this white light stuck on screen tried force restart several times appl logo will not pop up nothing will except the white screen ok and off again but no slider or logo .. can the lcd be fixed or does this need to be replaced completely? No drops cracks or anything just happened randomly ?? Please and thank you ?

I have iPhone 13 Pro phone . I woke up with my iPhone 13 Pro white screen completely. This happened due to update of ios 16.6 version. I have always faith in Apple . But this time happened was shocking. Not even single fall or water touching . Not a single scratch on body of iPhone just 18 months old phone

We had the same issue with white screen of death my 13 pro max is only 19 months old no scratches, no dents, no crack and history of misused. I do have other Iphone models like 7 Plus and still working fine except for the battery knowing the wear and tear. I have faith in apple expensive but quality is great and reliable. But so disappointed when this happened then I tried to open a case and escalate it but they refused.

My phone is also dead like this. The screen flashes several times and is white. As this is a company falt Apple should be responsible for this and needs to be involved. But this company is now acting irresponsibly. This is disgusting

I do have the same issue and it happened earlier this month, brought my phone to Istore for checking and the diagnostic was display issue so I called Apple customer services and complained they know about the issue since its already common in 13 Pro max, but they informed me there are cases Apple waived the fee but not always. Try also to ask assistance from the Istore technician to help you escalate it to Apple for more chances to have them waived the fees.

HELP! I am having the same issue except when I force quit nothing happens EXCEPT a siren sound and my flashlight goes on and off, my phone then launched into emergency mode and connected me to 911.... I am working all weekend and need my phone. If anyone has any clue how to resolve this, please let me know asap.

OMG! Yes, this is obviously a fault in the iPhone 13 pro max. I was using my phone as normal and all of a sudden the screen just went a bright white light. There was no cause for this, ie., no temperature change, accident, unusual activity.

I had the exact same issue and it's now in the process of being fixed by Apple. I took my phone the Apple store and learned that the white screen is caused by a recent iOS update which is incompatible with display hardware in certain phones such as the 13 Pro Max, purchased in certain countries and with particular model/serial numbers. They're replacing the screen for free. I had to sign something stating that I might lose my data so might need to use iCloud to restore. Hope this helps guys. Good luck!

i wondered what the glowing line was also. it only happens for me on my iphone 13 when i swipe up to add a caption to a picture. it will show a glowing line on any objects not just people; trees, cars, any thing. now i know. thanks for your answer.

It seems to me that the flashing light image selection only happens when Photos thinks there's a person that can be separated for a sticker, so touching a barn or a tree doesn't do it. When you start and image selection, it continues to remind you you're in that mode until you press someplace else, like on a tree or the sky-- then it stops.

However the wavy white line also appears without tapping the photo when user is viewing photo caption. This is extremely annoying if viewing a series of photos and captions. The photo brightness is also reduced when highlighting occurs.

It may help to read through these posts. The light that indicates "person selection" only happens when you touch a person in the picture. (Rarely some other things will trigger it.) The trick is to not touch a person in the picture when you swipe it.

Touch on the subject that is being outlined and choose add sticker. Then while in messaging or any app touch the + on keyboard and choose stickers and it will b under the second one over that looks like a peeling circle.

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 10-20 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear, the one with the "slider" to turn the device off included).

If the issue still persists, it might be a hardware (battery? screen? other internal component?) failure, and I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> -country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Same here. iPhone 13 Pro Max. Works normal on Apple Car Play, FaceID works, can receive calls, turn on rear flashlight, etc, but only because I know where on the screen these buttons were, if the display weren't solely bright white. Tried the Volume-Up, Volume-Down, Side-Button routine, but it had no effect. (the stripes are not visible to the naked eye).

I went to look at pictures of my old dog who passed and more than half of them are just showing a blank white screen. I realized I have thousands of pictures missing, with blank white screens in their place since my phone updated to the newest version. I need to figure out how to get these pictures back and why this has happened?!

I just fixed this for someone. Scrolling to the bottom of the photos app was a message saying I needed to accept new terms. Clicked the link and accepted terms. Then went back to app and went to bottom and and clicked the link to sync and whammo all thumbnails started appearing.

Dear community, I am having issues with my iPhone XS Max, I was charging my phone when eventually a green screen happened so I disconnected inmediatelly and turned off the phone, so after a couple of minutes I turn it on and it waas working fine. Few days later problem happened again and it is now like this as you can see a white screen first pops up then it started showing the green lines partially then it gets bolder with some black lines as well and then it just turns off, and so if I press the screen it happens again like in 3 seconds until it just turns off the screen

exactly....same issue here. phone just randomly started going all white without me doing anything. did all the force restart procedures but it dint help. phone works cos i can pick and make calls with my apple watch without activating cellular on watch. Touch works too as i was able to unlock phone using password by muscle memory. Apple support wasnt a help at all. Why should I be paying 35k in Indian Rupees to repair a damage I did not contribute to. If apple doesnt take any responsibility for this I am selling my apple products and never investing in their products ever. Apple is going carbon neutral by making their customers old devices useless through updates.

i had a same problem here. Hope apple will repair it at least without charging the owner since its not our fault. I only bought my phone last June 2022. This expensive phone is not worth it at all since i only use it for a year.

Did you try to force restart? A lot of users are facing these issues and it's apparently an hardware issue and in most cases if your device is out of warranty they will ask you to pay for the repair (even tough you didn't do anything that caused a hardware malfunction)
