Hi,

Got the Sonata Media Bundle working and properly extended, but translations aren't working - all the placeholder text is showing up.

I have tried putting the SonataMediaBundle.en.xliff into everywhere I can think of but it's not reading it. I managed to (temporarily) get the translations working by copying the content of it into /vendor/sonata-project/admin-bundle/SonataAdminBundle/Resources/translations/SonataAdminBundle.en.xliff but this is not a good fix, as it may be updated and overwritten.

Anybody got any ideas?

Cheers,
Hannah

When you add a translation file you need to remove cache files ... Symfony can only detect files changes ...

Where should I place the translation file? I would have though this would work out of the box, like the Admin Bundle? Or am I missing some glaring technical reason? Either way, it would be nice if this was included in the docs :)

Thanks!

The translation uses the symfony translator component ... so the translation works as described in the symfony documentation.

Ah yes… Got it working. Clearing the cache seemed to have done the trick, perhaps I need more coffee this morning..

Thanks for your help.
