I would like to call a vote for version 1.5 of the CSS plugin.
This new version fixes 8 issues: https://github.com/SonarCommunity/sonar-css/issues?q=milestone%3A1.5
- New rule: fontface browser compatibility
- New CSS validators
- Several rule improvements and bug fixes
An RC version of this plugin is available at https://github.com/SonarCommunity/sonar-css/releases/download/1.5-RC/sonar-css-plugin-1.5-RC.jar

This is a wanted behavior. As you have to configure this rule to set the browser support level you want, it doesn't make sense to me to have it activated in the default profile. Indeed this default profile should apply to any context (or at least to as many contexts as possible).
