Hi,

I am using sonar-css-plugin at sonar Qube server which is working fine.

Currently, I am developing my application with VSCode IDE and using stylint plugin. When do sonar search, it gives a lot of code smells which I can not see while local development.

But, I want to integrate it with my local development environment (VSCode). Is there any way to integrate sonar-css-plugin so that I can check all before sonar?

Good news! :-)

There's SonarLint for Visual Studio (http://www.sonarlint.org/visualstudio/index.html) that provides feedback in the IDE. I don't know if it supports Visual Studio Code as well but I'll let SonarSource answer this point. Anyway, even if SonarLint supported VS Code, it wouldn't be able to check for CSS code smells because SonarSource is sadly preventing non-SonarSource products to run in SonarLint. See https://groups.google.com/d/msg/sonarlint/4uMut6TPlwg/DR3QPa7dCwAJ.

Other alternatives would be SonarQube GitHub plugin or SonarQube Stash/Bitbucket plugin if you work with pull requests with those products: https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/PLUG/GitHub+Plugin and https://github.com/AmadeusITGroup/sonar-stash

Hi!

I've developed a VSC extension for Sonarqube integration via modified sonarlint-cli some time ago.
You can check it here - https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=silverbulleters.sonarqube-inject
Feel free to post issues in github repo or our gitter if you have any questions.
