Hi,

starting from today all of our CI builds are failing with

Numeric value out of range of int

when running maven sonar plugin (v3.3.0.603) via

mvn sonar:sonar

Excerpt of the error:

Thanks.

It looks like this is the upstream bug :|

And I confirm that updating the Sonar Github plugin to 1.4.2 via updated center fixed the problem.

Cheers!

Hi guys! Could you please also check SonarQube Scanner CLI tool? It has exactly the same issue, at least its latest release 3.0.3.778

Could you please create a ticket on fixing this issue? It results in Jenkins jobs that use "sonar-scanner" as CLI tool for analysis also failing because of "Numeric value out of range of int" issue :(

Thank you,
Oleksiy.

Hi Oleksiy,

The GitHub-related issue discussed in this thread lived in the GitHub Plugin itself (SONARGITUB-35), independently from any Scanner. My advice would be that you make sure that your SonarQube has the fixed v1.4.2 of that GitHub Plugin, FYI you can also cross-check it at analysis time by enabling debug logs (sonar.verbose=true , -X if Maven). Then if any remaining issue/concern, post all details (logs, stacktraces, context) in a dedicated thread.

Best regards,
Nicolas
