Right place to download sonar 5.6.3 LTS ?

Hello,

I have a sonar 5.1.2 test ec2 instance according to upgrade documentation i need to make a new directory for 5.6.3 LTS before upgrading to 6.latest but when i add the following sonar package url in my yum.repos.d directory https://sourceforge.net/projects/sonar-pkg/files/rpm/noarch/sonar-5.6.3-1.noarch.rpm/download and ran yum install i gives me following error yum install sonar

Loaded plugins: priorities, update-motd, upgrade-helper

https://sourceforge.net/projects/sonar-pkg/files/rpm/noarch/sonar-5.6.3-1.noarch.rpm/download/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"

Trying other mirror.

but i have seen so many posts before i upgrade from 5.1.2 it is better to do 5.6.3 LTS then 6.1 right ? but i'm unable to find the sonar package for 5.6.3 LTS can you please help find the package and my sql version is 5.6

Hello,

I don't know who provides this RPM packaging of SonarQube 5.6.3 but there is no such RPM provided by SonarSource for recent versions of SonarQube.

You can download SQ 5.6.3 zip file at this location, which is listed on http://www.sonarqube.org/downloads/.

Type sonar native packages in google then click on the first link you should be able to see all rpm packages of sonar

Sebastien is right - http://sonar-pkg.sourceforge.net/ is unofficial SonarQube distribution, maintained by me without SonarSource hat in a spare time on the best effort basis without any guarantees.

As per http://sonar-pkg.sourceforge.net/ correct repo URL is http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/sonar-pkg/rpm/sonar.repo and not the one which you are trying.

To install particular version using yum - type "yum install version" in google then click on the first link ( http://lmgtfy.com/?q=yum+install+version ):

yum install sonar-5.6.3-1

Little correction: I mean correct repo URL is "http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/sonar-pkg/rpm" and is in file http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/sonar-pkg/rpm/sonar.repo
