Git plugin for latest LTS release

I'm a newbie to SonarQube and hence not so well versed with the tool. Trying to find Git plugin for the latest LTS release (https://sonarsource.bintray.com/Distribution/sonarqube/sonarqube-4.5.7.zip) resulted in all available plugins being compatible only with SonarQube 5.1+. Are there no Git plugins compatible with the latest LTS release?

Hi,

I agree that it's a bit misleading. SonarQube 4.5.x uses the SCM Activity plugin to collect information from various SCM providers, including Git. See http://docs.sonarqube.org/display/PLUG/SCM+Activity+Plugin. Since SonarQube 5.1, this plugin has been split in as many plugins as SCM providers, hence one plugin for Git, one for Subversion and so on. 

To sum-up, you just have to install version 1.8 of the SCM Activity plugin.
