SCM Git Stats using Sonar 5.6.

Hi,

    We are using sonar 5.6 and getting metrics with code coverage , lines of code and others but cannot see commits per day , week, top contributes and other metrics like the following

Commits Per Week Dayscm-commits-per-weekdayReports on the number of commits per week day.
Commits Per Week MOnthscm-commits-per-monthReports on the number of commits per week month.
Commits Per Clock Hourscm-commits-per-clockhourReports on the number of commits per week clockhour.
Commits Per Week Authorscm-commits-per-userReports on the number of commits per week author.

is there a way to get these kind of metrics using Sonar ? Apparently sonar is using JGit to get basic git stats, i am seeing while looking at the coverage report and issues report the commiter name and suff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Pavan,

That's not available from SonarQube because it's not strictly about code quality. You should be able to extract this from your SCM, tho.
