Reindex database if using Postgres

We are trying to migrate the development SonarQube Postgres database from one server to another, but the stats in the SonarQube dashboard are zero “0” after a sonarqube build is executed (which we know is incorrect as it shows up correctly in the development environment). 

So, do the steps in this SonarQube FAQ document also affect the indexes if using the Postgres Database?
