Hi !

SonarQube seems to use a Comma-separated list of SCM accounts (at least this is what the Web API issues/search does) to provide authors in the request.

As our SVN authors have a “<Name>,< FirstName> (<ID>)” format, the request only gets the first part of the author string (<Name>), which does not match the whole author string, and the results are empty even if issues exist with full author name. I couldn’t find any workaround for this: is there a workaround or a fix to support commas in author names ?

I think this post describes th same issue: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37974035/sonarqube-blame-information-for-jazz-rtc-contains-comma-in-username

Hi,

There's no way to do this for the moment, but I've created a ticket to be able to handle your use case : https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/SONAR-7907

Julien Lancelot
