SonarQube 6.4 and C# plugin 6.0 (build 2033) - Fails.

Hello all,

I just upgraded to SonarQube 6.4 (from 6.3) and my Jenkins MS Build tasks are failing.  I checked everything and all seems good.  I had also upgraded my C# plugin from 5.11 (build 1761)  to 6.0 (build 2033).

Downgrading the C# plugin back to 5.11 (build 1761) everything works ok.

Hi,

The message is indeed confusing.
SonarC# 6.0 dropped the support for MsBuild 12 and has a few API breaking changes (hence the major version bump) and requires Scanner for MsBuild 3.0+.

If you can't update the version of the Scanner you will have to stick with the previous version.

Thanks Amaury for the very quick reply.  That gives me something to go after.  I'm using the Jenkins plug in and I'm up to date on that version.  But let me see if I can also update the MSBUILD scanner.

Thanks again Amaury.  That worked fine for me.  It's been a while since I did the install in Jenkins so I uplifted our scanners to the latest version available.
