Hi SonarQube Community

The documentation about the Update Center (https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/SONAR/Update+Center) lacks some information about the websites that are needed for updating plugins (and probably sonarqube itself).
If you are behind a corporate proxy that is restrictive against servers accessing the internet, you need a list of domains and ports that have to be unlocked. These are:

Each of these websites are accessed via HTTPS over port 443

Could someone please create a JIRA issue to update the documentation. Thank you :)

with kind regards

Michael

The actual file comes from akamai.bintray.com (Sidenote: Akamai is a content delivery network, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akamai_Technologies)
If you use fiddler composer to do a GET request on https://sonarsource.bintray.com/Distribution/sonar-csharp-plugin/sonar-csharp-plugin-5.8.0.660.jar the webserver will respond with something like this:
So you need all 3 domains to finally download a plugin.

Hi Michael,

After some internal discussions, we're not going to make any changes at this time.

But we do appreciate you reporting this and following through on my question.
