Hello .NET Team,

Is it possible to display standard C# compiler warnings and errors in SonarQube? (I don't think it is at the moment) Do you also see a value in it?

I outlined a possible solution here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43131664/export-import-visual-studio-2015-rule-set-into-sonarqube/43216608#43216608. You might want to experiment with it. It would be awesome to see all
  • C# compiler issues,
  • SonarC# issues,
  • FxCop issues, and
  • 3rd party Roslyn based issue
in one place. This would mean that Visual Studio and SonarQube would report exactly the same issues.

Thanks,
Tamas

I'm desperate to report local warnings from Microsoft.CodeAnalaysis.Csharp into Sonarqube...

I got:
- Managed Binary Analysis with the FxCop plugin
- SonarAnalyzer.CSharp with the C# plugin
- StyleCop.Analyzers with StyleCop.Analyzers plugin

Microsoft.CodeAnalaysis.Csharp is the last analyzer not appearing on my SonarQube server.
Please help!

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late answer.
We don't see so much value in this feature for now so we have no plan to integrate it in short/mid-term. For the roslyn-based 3rd party analyzers you can use the Roslyn SDK project.

Cheers,
Amaury
