SonarLint using deactivated rules

I have setup sonarlint in connected mode as mentioned here http://www.sonarlint.org/eclipse/ . When I do the scan I see issues from rules that are deactivated in the profile in use. I have tried restarting eclipse in case there was cache and also updating rules on server tab. Is there any logs I can check to see whats the issue ?

There's a dedicated group for SonarLint so you should probably repost this there. But before you do, take a look at Connected Mode.
