Sonar Historical data

Hi Team,

Whether we can get a Historical data from sonar DB? . we need a data before 2017 of sonar records. We want to know is this possible?

Hi Nagaarjun,

You can see this in the project's activity page, where you have the ability to graph multiple metrics together. Beyond that, take a look at the api/measures/search_history. You'll find a link to the docs for your version in your footer.

Thanks for looking into this. I'm unable to locate api/measures/search_history in API_Document.

I can see only 2 items. 

1.  GET api/measures/component

2. GET api/measures/component_tree

Hi Nagaarjun,

Your instance is locked down, but I can see from the footer that you're on 5.6.6. I don't remember specifically, but you should have an equivalent web service in that version.

Note that 7.0 is the current SonarQube version and 6.7.2 is the current LTS. You should upgrade at your earliest convenience.

You trying to say that , if we upgrade sonar to latest version, we can able to extract historical data through API(api/measures/search_history will be enabled?) . Your reply will be greatly appreciated and this will be very helpful to my team. 

Note : We need a data of prior 2017.

I'm saying you should be able to extract this data whatever the version, I just don't remember the API name in 5.6.*

Note that your ability to retrieve historical data is subject to the Housekeeping routines.
